Dear Brethren,

Ozark Christian Camp invites you to Spring Lake Assembly Ground June 20-25, 2010.  We have enclosed a map to help you locate the camp which is situated 18 miles east of Hot Springs, Arkansas, near the town of Lonsdale. We welcome you to a week full of good teaching and great fellowship!

Campers will assemble with the River Street Church of Christ for our first service at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, June 20.  The church will be open from about 4:00 p.m. that afternoon to welcome all the visitors.  Following the Sunday evening service, a meal will be served in the fellowship hall.  The members of River St. have also graciously opened their homes to accommodate campers Sunday night since we cannot check into the camp ground until Monday morning.  For those who prefer to stay in a local motel Sunday night, we have more information on a camp information page. Please note:  Space is limited in the homes and the first 40 to 45 who request a home to stay in will be served on a first come basis.

Campers will meet back at the River St. fellowship hall for breakfast Monday morning at 7:00 a.m.  After breakfast, we will make about a 20-minute drive out to the Spring Lake Camp where the first sessions begin at 9:00 a.m.

Monday through Thursday we will follow the daily schedule that is included in this mailing and also can be found on our web site. On Friday we will have a short devotional followed by breakfast and then break camp. We ask that those picking up campers be at the camp grounds by 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning.

We have the use of several buildings for housing.  These are dormitory type housing with bunk beds.  You must provide your own towels, washcloths and bedding.  We encourage you to pack individually since you may not always be housed together as a group.  The cafeteria, assembly room and dorms are air-conditioned.

Spring Lake includes 200 acres set in the mountains just east of Hot Springs, Arkansas.  Recreational facilities include a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a baseball field and paddleboats.  There is also a large swimming pool which we will use daily as we have in the past with a girls swim followed by the boys swim.  Campers are required to provide their own balls, bats, etc.  We also are required to provide our own lifeguards at Spring Lake.

The cost of the camp is:   Individual - $125.00      Family of 3 or more - $275.00

Registration forms accompany this letter.  The deadline for registration is June 1st.  After that date, a $10.00 late fee will be charged for late registrations.  We encourage you to send in your registrations early this year and include your t-shirt size.  We want to provide a t-shirt to all who register on time.  Due to time constraints for making t-shirt orders, we cannot provide t-shirts for late registrations.

We ask that a parent or adult supervisor accompany children under 12 years old.  Young people age 18 and under who are not accompanied by a parent must sign the Parent/Guardian Agreement and Medical Release Form and return it with your Registration Form.

Our dress code is knee-length shorts for the day sessions; if you wear anything shorter than knee-length, you may be asked by the camp directors to change into something more appropriate.  You will also need a cover-up to wear between the swimming pool and the dorm. You will want to bring some dress clothes for the evening services.

The theme for 2010 is yet to be announced.  Brother Bill Adcox of Oklahoma City, OK will be our speaker in the evening services and will also teach public speaking. Our music instructor for 2010 will be announced later. We are looking forward to a great camp.  We encourage families to come to camp together as a family.  It's an experience that your family will cherish in years to come.
